Finnish sauna culture is no joke and Hakka-Sauna attempts to demystify some of the key details related to this culture. This site is less serious though. The idea is to share sauna-related ideas, traditions and stories.

The name Hakka-Sauna does not refer to the Hakka people but Hakkapeliitta, the badass Finnish cavalrymen. Did they go to sauna? Most probably they did. They likely strategized there, how to attack at full gallop and get the job done ASAP so everyone could just go back to the base camp, heat up their tent sauna and enjoy an ice cold malty beverage.
